Jake Der Hagopian

President

Jake Der Hagopian is President of CSMI. Mr. Der Hagopian provides business leadership to CSMI’s senior management team utilizing his experience in business, finance, strategic planning and development.

Prior to joining CSMI in 2010, Mr. Der Hagopian specialized in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, reorganizations and business development.  Mr. Der Hagopian worked with both publicly and privately held companies, domestically and internationally, in a variety of sectors including real estate development, hotels, entertainment, telecommunications, transportation and information technology.

Mr. Der Hagopian specialized in restructuring and reviving distressed companies and properties.  His entrepreneurial skills and experience have proven critical in contract negotiations for the sale, acquisition, mergers, financing and reorganization of projects, portfolios and companies.  Among his accomplishments are the transformation of a telecommunications company, pioneering the revitalization of an historical preservation district and the successful reorganization of valuable properties in major metropolitan and resort areas along the eastern seaboard. 

Mr. Der Hagopian is committed to expanding CSMI’s efforts as a leading provider of education management services and solutions. He sees CSMI as being a model for providing privately managed alternatives to improve opportunities for student learning in urban areas, and as a company positioned to address the fiscal and competitive challenges facing our public education system.

Mr. Der Hagopian volunteers his personal time for various non-profit and community service organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden County, works with the Salvation Army Kroc Center Campaign Camden, is Chairman of the Economic Development Advisory Committee for Moorestown Township and serves on the Board of Visitors of the College of Education at Temple University.

Mr. Der Hagopian is a graduate of Temple University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration.
