Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer

Max Tribble

 

Max Tribble is Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for CSMI.  Mr. Tribble is responsible for all external communications, including media and public relations as well as communications with federal, state and local government. He also serves as the company’s director of government affairs, advising lawmakers and public officials on charter school policy and interfacing with state and local agencies.

Mr. Tribble previously co-founded Washington Advocacy Group, a consulting firm which he managed for eight years.  He was also a partner in the Washington, DC consulting firm of McGovern & Smith.  At both firms, he managed client interests for a variety of non-profit, philanthropic and corporate interests.

Mr. Tribble has represented interests in various sectors of the healthcare and defense industries, as well as major corporations in the telecom, Internet, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.  He has worked in the energy industry representing clients in renewable energy and oil and gas.  Some notable clients Mr. Tribble represented as a consultant include Yahoo!, Amgen, SAP America, and LANXESS, among others.  He has consulted for various foreign heads of state in Europe, Africa and Central America.

Prior to those positions, Mr. Tribble was Deputy Finance Director for Senator Arlen Specter's successful 2004 re-election campaign, managing national fundraising and direct mail. Mr. Tribble has also worked as a consultant to dozens of other federal, state and local political campaigns and initiatives, including four campaigns for sitting United States Senators.

Mr. Tribble has been involved in formulation of charter school policy on the state level and has extensive experience representing the charter school movement before government.  At CSMI, he formulates external messaging to help explain the benefits and practical applications of alternative public education opportunities.

Mr. Tribble was born in Topeka, Kansas, and though he was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he calls Kansas State University his alma mater.  Mr. Tribble previously served on the Board of Directors for the Lancaster County Conservancy, which is responsible for the preservation of more than 5,200 acres of natural lands in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  He also served on the Board of Governors of the Lancaster Country Club during the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open.
